RYA Essential Navigation and Seamanship Theory

The RYA Essential Navigation and Seamanship course will give you a basic introduction to navigation and electronic navigation techniques together with safety and seamanship.  It is a 2 day course held in one of our classrooms or an online course that can be completed anywhere in the world and at your own pace within the time frame of 1 year.

The course introduces you to the basics of navigation, charts, bouyage, tides, collision regulations and weather. It's suitable for anyone interested in sailing, motor boating, sea angling or diving, and compliments practical training courses, such as the Powerboat Level 2, Start Yachting and Helmsman courses.
