3 Day Dutch Dash

A fun three day trip to across the North Sea usually taken over a long weekend. Don't forget your passport!

Take an active part in the sailing of one of our yachts across the North Sea to Holland, France or Belgium.

These trips will provide a good sailing opportunity for those wishing to build up miles for personal experience or to work towards a higher RYA practical level. 

You can expect longer and overnight passages, to experience watch systems and cooking whilst at sea. 

As the name may suggest the ultimate aim of these trips is to cross the North Sea and back however the actual destination will vary with accordance to the weather.

The trip is not a formal training course but throughout all of our adventure trips a qualified instructor / skipper will be on hand to provide coaching and instruction as needed. 

Suggested Previous Experience

RYA Competent Crew practical certificate or equivalent sea time and nautical miles. 

PLEASE NOTE: Please be aware that this trip is weather dependent and you may not reach the intended destination, but instead sail to another port due to the current winds and tides at the time of the Dash.

Course details:

• 3 days: starting Friday evening
• Experienced skipper, who is also an RYA Instructor
• Accommodation on board
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner on board during the trip
• Fuel & mooring fees

• Join us on your own boat
• Skippered Charter - at a time convenient to you, hire a boat and skipper to complete a channel crossing (call the office for prices and availability). 

Help build up miles for personal experience or to work towards a higher RYA practical level. 

If the weather is not looking great or is forecast to be a bit chilly or windy you can hire wet weather gear from us.

Musto Waterproofs available in S, M, L, XL and XXL - £22.00 for the weekend.

You are expected to bring the following comfort pack items with you; however if you don't want to bring your best duck down pillow or you haven't got a sleeping bag, don't worry you can hire a comfort pack from us!

A Comfort Pack comprises of a freshly laundered sleeping bag with liner, pillow, pillow case and towel - £16.00.
